The"European Research Council starting grant" research group of Dr. Hendrik Sager is looking to recruit a highly motivated PhD-student to join a dynamic international research team at the German Heart Center Munich, department of cardiology. Their research focusses on the role of the immune system in cardiovascular disease. Specifically, they are interested in the origin, function and fate of innate immune cells in atheriosclerosis and wound healing after myocardial infarction.
