Bachsalon – A Listening Salon on Appearing and Disappearing with Jan Ott

The Auer Mühlbach is a watercourse that vacillates between presence and absence: Diverted from the Isar in Thalkirchen, it flows through the zoo, Harlaching, Untergiesing and the Au, appearing and disappearing in unexpected places until it rejoins the Isar.

In collaboration with artist and designer Jan Ott, participants will follow the water’s course through Untergiesing accompanied by creative prompts, special site visits and artistic interventions.

HörSalons are an art-science format developed as part of the CitySoundscapes research project by Katrin Petroschkat and Susanne Schmitt. Funded as part of the Research Initiative for the Preservation of Biodiversity (FEdA) of the Federal Ministry of Research, Education, and Space (BMFTR)
