Research interests

During my doctoral research I will investigate the influence of the Sunda-Sahul Biotic Exchange on the diversification of the genus Aglaia (Meliaceae), with focus on fruit diversification. The combination of phylogenetic studies with studies on fruit morphology and chemistry will give new insights into the effects of biogeographical shifts on the adaptation of fruits to new disperser communities.
