Research interests
- The genus Ancistrocladus from the Paleotropical family Ancistrocladaceae (DFG project)
- Lamiaceae, with special consideration of the subfamily Nepetoideae and the genus Teucrium
- Species of the genus Scrophularia from the family Scrophulariaceae
- as well as the genera Genlisea and Utricularia (Lentibulariaceae), which expand our research focus in the field of carnivorous plants.
