I am particularly interested in organellar gene expression and chloroplast-nucleus communication. My goal is to unravel the molecular networks that enable plants to adapt to environmental stresses. To achieve this, I employ a diverse set of molecular, genetic, biochemical, and physiological approaches. My research focuses especially on next-generation sequencing techniques, including forward genetics screens, transcriptomics, and epigenetic methods such as ChIP-Seq and CUT&Tag.
