My research interests lie in understanding the evolution of plant photosynthesis, its underlying mechanisms from both physiological and molecular perspectives, and the role of “visible” and “invisible” trait complexes in these processes. Currently, I am working on the flexible crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM) of the Macaronesian succulent genus Aichryson.
