Photsynthetis is a key measurement for several different plant studies. Our two GFS-3000 systems from Waltz provide various parameters for measuring photosynthesis (for more details, see manual https://www.walz.com/files/downloads/gfs-3000_manual_9.pdf).

Climate chambers

In our climate chambers we can control light intensity and quality, temperature, CO2 levels and photoperiod to perform several experiments under controlled conditions. For an eficient and sound characterization of physiological and molecular responses, it is ideal to grow or entrain the plants under controlled and stable conditions. Once there, we routinely apply treatments to study plant responses to drought, salinity, light, temperature stresses or also nutrient dificiencies. It depends on the project and biological question to customize the experiment.
