Research

My research focuses on transport proteins in the chloroplast envelope and their roles in plant metabolism and adaptation to environmental changes. Using Arabidopsis mutants combined with metabolomics and proteomics, we investigate the physiological functions of these proteins in vivo. In addition, we apply a range of biochemical methods to understand their molecular mechanisms and their importance for communication between the chloroplast and the rest of the cell.
