Mentoring and Career Guidance
“Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction” — Attributed to John Crawford Crosby, U.S. Congressman & Judge (1859–1943)
Every doctoral journey looks different, and not all of it is straightforward. Whether you're looking for guidance, a confidential conversation, or just want to know what support exists, this is the right place to start. You're also always welcome to reach out directly to the LSM coordinator.
LSM Buddy Support Initiative
New to LSM? Your buddy has already been through it. Each new doctoral student is matched with a senior colleague who can help with everything from LMU enrolment and the LSM curriculum to TAC meetings, all in an informal and friendly way.
You'll hear from us early on to find out whether you'd like to take part.
Interested in becoming a buddy? Get in touch with the LSM council president Johannes Hagen.
